Congolese Dance Class with Master Teacher Makaya "Kayos"!
Every Friday 5:30-7:00pm (with a few exceptions). $12-15 community, $8-10 students with ID.
High energy dance classes with live drumming. Wear comfortable clothing that's easy to move in. Bring plenty of water and be prepared to get down and shake it!
Makaya is an inspirational teacher, full of energy and lots of smiles. Since the age of 5 he has been cultivating his love of Congolese dance and drum. He has been initiated and ritually trained in the art of Congolese Dance and Music. A master teacher, he brings the spirit of the Congo to every class. We are so fortunate to have this amazing teacher in Humboldt! Come and enjoy.

Redwood Coast USA Dance presents a Salsa Dance Party!
Redwood Coast USA Dance is hosting it's May dance at Redwood Raks on Saturday May 26th.
This is a Salsa party and we'll be featuring local Salsa instructors Jessica Ayer & Daniel Burrell, with a lesson from 6:30-7:30pm.
DJ John will be providing a variety of dance tunes from 7:30-10pm.
This is an all ages and all dance level welcome event, no partner required.
Cover: $4 Members/$6 Community Members Doors open at 6pm.
