Creative Dance & Circus Arts: August 12-16 6-14 years, 9:00pm-4:00pm, $175 Explore the 4 elements, how to use hoops, staff, poi, veils, juggling... while you weave together the powerful elements of dance to be part of a magnificent creative dance and circus experience at the end of the week in the Creamery Festival and Elemental Spectacle that Arcata Playhouse is producing August 16-18! All skills are welcome (or if you don't have any yet... come develop some! Each participant will make their own practice poi and will get to make and decorate a hula hoop and double staffs and make juggling balls! Includes: hula hoop, double staffs, poi, juggling balls Note: the kids have to make them... some might not want to make all the props. Parents welcome to come help before, during or after camp hours with cutting, taping, sewing, decorating... we know you're crafty too!! :-) You can even make more props if you purchase supplies and let us know ahead of time (for you or siblings!).
