Bella Studio

• Large screen TV with dvd and vhs capability
• This studio shares a wall with the Arcata Playhouse, so no loud drums in this studio, and classes after 8pm may have to be quieter when they quieter shows.

Rental Rates:
Note: to accomodate special events, we don't like to schedule regular classes or rehearsals on the weekends. If you do talk me into letting you schedule something on the weekends, please understand that there are a few events that will take over the schedule for the entire facility each year. These are usually in May and December, and one big festival weekend in August.

• $40.00 / hour for PARTIES
  Includes 1 hour before and after your party time for set-up & take-down.
  Must pay for 1/2 total rental amount to secure date, with the full amount due 1 week before your event.
  You need to remove garbage and recycling, and plan on good cleaning and mopping the floor.
  Tables & chairs available at no extra charge.
  
  
• $30.00 / hour - workshops
  This is for dance workshops and master classes
  
  
• $25.00 / hour - workshops for regular renters
  If you're a regular studio renter, you can have our discounted workshop/master class rate.
  
  
• $20.00 / hour - Prime Time (weekdays 5pm and later and weekends)
  • Ongoing dance classes
• Due at the beginning of the month ... Due every week unless 2 weeks advance notice is given!
  
  
• $15.00 / hour - Weekdays until 5pm
  • Any purpose (classes, gatherings, private lessons, meetings, etc.)
  • Due at the beginning of the month or by the week... Due every week unless 2 weeks advance notice is given!!
    
    
• $10.00 / hour - Rehearsals and Private Lessons Rate
• I know how hard it is to find good dance space to practice!!! I hope this helps....
  
• For any short or long term rehearsals, practices, and private lessons (limit 2 students).
• May be "bumped" by a regular class or special event (we'll give you notice and will give you a chance to pay the regular rate before canceling your slot for an ongoing class).
• Regular rehearsals happening 5-9pm weekdays are $20/hour. Sorry - it's primetime.
  
  
• Dance Teacher's Liability Insurance is required. We have a good company to reccomend! Click here.
  
  
• There is a $10 / month Shared Spaces Fee for all regular renters that may either be added to your monthly rent or you may work one hour a month in trade.

RULES & POLICIES

• Rent is due each week unless we have TWO WEEKS NOTICE so we can try to fill the space.
• Rent is due on a MONTHLY basis.
• If you must pay weekly after the first month, you will need to work trade 1 hr/wk. Please pay monthly!
• We accept cash, checks to Redwood Raks or Paypal to dance@shoshannaland.com.
• If you're a month behind in your rent your time slot may be given to someone on our waiting list.
• END YOUR CLASS ON TIME so the next class may start right at the beginning of their reserved time.
• Dust mop the floor after your class.
• Remove all debris and belongings left by your students.
• NO FOOD GARBAGE in the studio. There is an ant problem!
• Be sure all furniture and items are back in orginal places when you leave.
• No smoking inside or in the foyer area outside. By the tree is the closest to the door, please.
• If you're the last one out, be sure all fans, lights, stereos, xmas lights, bathroom lights, etc. are OFF & doors CLOSED AND LOCKED.
• Nothing may be done that will endanger the space:
  • Do nothing that will damage our hardwood floor.
  • Do not lean people or objects upon the mirror. Please keep hands and body parts OFF the mirror.
  • No open flame inside at all.
  • TAP shoes must be used on our linoleum, NOT on the hardwood floors.
