General Studio Info
• 2,400 square feet of hardwood dance floor in an historic building.
• Plenty of room for large classes and groups (fine for 40+ dancers)
• 40'x6' wall of mirrors (and curtain to cover the mirrors)
• Conveniently close to downtown Arcata - just 2 blocks from the plaza!
• Remote Controls for mirrorball, chrismas and dj party lights
• Stereo: cd player, i-pod docking station, auxilary cable, and bose speakers

SPECIAL EVENTS:
Room Capacity is 200 people standing, with audience-style seating for shows on risers of about 150. Theatrical lights, light booth, and sound equipment available to rent.

Rental Rates for Regular Ongoing Classes
Note: to accomodate special events, we don't schedule regular classes or rehearsals Friday evenings, Saturdays morning/day/night, or Sundays until 3pm.

• $20.00 / hour - Weekday Prime Time (5pm and later) and Weekends
  • Ongoing or short term classes, gatherings, private lessons, etc.)
• Due at the beginning of the month or by the week... Due every week unless 2 weeks advance notice is given!

• I know how hard it is to find good dance space to practice!!! I hope this helps dance companies and others prepare for ongoing or upcoming events.
• Non-income generating. May be "bumped" by a regular class or special weekend event (we'll give you notice if a special event needs the space. We'll give you a chance to pay the regular rate before canceling your slot for an ongoing class).
• OK for class prep, ongoing or short term rehearsals. Not for parties, classes, etc

Rental Rates for Workshops & Special Events at the MAIN STUDIO
Our space is a favorite for one-night or weekend shows, workshops, CD Release Parties, fundraisers, and more. We work with you to help ensure your event is a success, and are happy to help new event producers find the resources they need.

• $30.00 / hour (for workshops or 1-3 hour events on Friday or before 4pm on Saturday or Sunday.
• $150.00 / half day event (the space is yours for: 8am-4pm or 3pm-1am Fri or Sat or 8am-3pm Sunday)
• $200.00 / full day event (8am until 1am)
• $250.00 / two nights(Fri & Sat 3pm-1am),
• Set up time and rehearsal hours are free if done during available/empty time.
• Take-down must be done quietly and everyone finished and gone by 2am.
• PLEASE NOTE: We're NOT a late night party spot. All parties must be done by about midnight and be respectful of the residents who live in other parts of the building. Thanks!
• If you think you'll need more space for a dressing room / prep space, New World Ballet (our neighbor) may be available for $25/hour. Please call them directly at (707) 822-4947.
• $100 Cleaning/Security Deposit Required to reserve date.
• Liability Insurance, dance permit, and appropriate permits required.
